Meftah Map Poster & Print
Meftah lies in Blida Province, on the eastern side of the Mitidja, the fertile plain that stretches behind the coast of Algiers. To the south, the ground begins to rise toward the Blida Atlas, and the town sits close to that transition. On a map, its compact centre of streets is surrounded by orchards and fields on one side and by rising, more broken terrain on the other.
The Mitidja is one of Algeria's most important agricultural areas, known for citrus and market gardens, and its land is divided into long rectangular plots crossed by roads and irrigation channels.
