Gradna stream
The stream threads through the old town, and a sequence of small crossings links its two banks. It is a thin line on the map, but it organises the whole centre.

Samobor Map Poster & Print
Samobor lies just west of Zagreb, where the plain of the Sava meets the Samobor Hills. The map shows it clearly: the town spreads comfortably over flat ground to the east, while the western edge breaks up into narrow valleys and winding roads climbing into forest. The Gradna stream runs through the historic centre, and the town has grown up along its banks.
The old core centres on a broad main square, King Tomislav Square, with streets leading off it and small bridges crossing the stream. Above the town are the ruins of a medieval castle on a wooded hill. Samobor is also known across Croatia for its kremšnita, a custard cream cake, and for a carnival that has been held for well over a century.
A Samobor map poster shows both sides of the place: the orderly streets near the square and the looser, contour-bound roads into the hills. The meeting of flat land and hill country gives the composition a natural direction, dense on one side and open and winding on the other, and it looks especially good in the Paper and Blueprint styles.

King Tomislav Square
The wide main square is the clearest open space in the historic core, the point where the town's older streets gather.
Samobor Hills
West of town, the roads begin to twist through wooded valleys, giving that side of the poster a looser, meandering texture.

Many people know Samobor from weekend trips out of Zagreb, from hiking in the hills or from a slice of kremšnita on the square. A map of its streets turns those afternoons into something to keep.
