Seeb is a wilayat of Muscat Governorate that stretches along the coast of the Gulf of Oman west of the capital’s older districts. On the map it forms a long band parallel to the shore: a sandy beach on one side, a major highway running further inland, and the rising ground of the Hajar foothills beyond.
Between these lines the area fills with residential districts laid out in blocks, gardens and date palm plots, many arranged along straight roads that run from the highway down toward the sea.
