Twinsburg lies in northern Summit County, between Cleveland and Akron, on land that was once part of the Connecticut Western Reserve. Its centre keeps the pattern early settlers brought from New England: a rectangular village green with roads leading away from it in several directions. The town takes its name from Moses and Aaron Wilcox, identical twins who were among its founders in the early nineteenth century.
