Gulf shoreline
A long stretch of Persian Gulf coast forms the main edge of the map. The town lines up along it, so the sea is present on every part of the poster.

Mapa
Bandar-e Lengeh Map Poster & Print
Bandar-e Lengeh lies on the Persian Gulf coast of Hormozgan province, in southern Iran. The map is dominated by the shoreline: a long edge of sea with the town stretched along it, a harbour area, and flat coastal land that rises towards dry hills inland. The streets of the older quarters sit close to the water, and newer districts spread along the coast and away from it.
Lengeh has long been a port town, historically tied to Gulf trade, pearl diving and the building of wooden dhows. Its traditional buildings include wind towers, the tall structures used to catch the breeze and cool houses in the heat. In the older neighbourhoods the lanes are narrow and close together, a layout suited to shade and airflow.
A Bandar-e Lengeh map poster emphasises the relationship between town and sea. The coastline is long and clean, the harbour is marked by breakwaters and jetties, and the old quarter forms a dense grain close to the shore. Behind it all, the road runs along the coast towards other Gulf ports. On paper, the open water gives the composition generous space and a clear horizon.

The harbour
Breakwaters and jetties shape the port area, which is linked to the town's long history of Gulf trade and dhow building. On the map they are the clearest straight lines on the coast.
Old quarter lanes
Near the water, the older neighbourhoods have narrow, close-set lanes, a layout suited to shade and the sea breeze. Their dense texture contrasts with the open water beside them.
