Island coastline
The irregular shore of Dachangshan, with its bays and headlands, is the strongest line on the poster. It gives the map a clear, recognisable silhouette.

Dachang Shandao Map Poster & Print
Dachang Shandao is the main town of Changhai County, an archipelago in the northern Yellow Sea that belongs to the city of Dalian in Liaoning province. It sits on Dachangshan Island, one of the largest in the Changshan group. On a map, the defining feature is the coastline: an irregular island edge, with bays, headlands and small harbours cutting into the land.
The town gathers around its harbour and the lower ground near the shore, with streets running between the water and the island's hills. Ferries connect the island to the mainland and to neighbouring islands, and fishing and marine farming shape the coast. In the surrounding sea, the grid-like patterns of aquaculture areas are sometimes visible from above.
A Dachang Shandao map poster frames the town as part of an island: land and water in balance, with an intricate shoreline and a compact urban area set against the sea. It suits islanders, people from Dalian and anyone drawn to the quieter coasts of northeastern China.

Harbour town
Streets cluster around the harbour and the low ground by the water. They form a dense pocket of detail against the surrounding sea.
Surrounding waters
Open sea and neighbouring islands fill the edges of the frame. The broad empty space makes the town feel self-contained and remote.
