Verdugo Mountains
The northern skyline is a steep, mostly roadless range. On the map it shows as a large blank area with streets tucked into the canyons along its lower slopes.

Glendale Map Poster & Print
Glendale fills a basin between the San Rafael Hills and the Verdugo Mountains. From above, the flat southern half is a regular street grid, and it breaks up into winding, dead-end roads as soon as the land starts to climb. The Los Angeles River and the freeway interchange near Griffith Park mark the southwest corner.
Brand Boulevard runs north to south through the commercial centre, past the Glendale Galleria and the Americana at Brand, and it gives the grid a clear spine. The Ventura Freeway runs east to west across the south of the city, and the Glendale Freeway cuts diagonally up toward the foothills.
Forest Lawn Memorial Park covers a large area of landscaped hillside at the southern edge. Glendale is also home to one of the largest Armenian communities in the United States. A Glendale map poster shows that meeting of grid and mountain clearly, with dense lines in the valley giving way to the open shapes of the ridges.

Brand Boulevard
This long, straight commercial avenue runs through the centre of the grid, and the city's densest blocks and main shopping districts sit along it.
Forest Lawn
The famous cemetery covers a large area of hillside. Its curving interior roads look very different from the straight residential streets around it.

Dlaczego Glendale
Mapa, która coś znaczy
Glendale is where the Los Angeles grid meets the mountains, and it makes a clear map for anyone who has lived in the valley or driven up into the hills. It suits a room that likes quiet shapes as much as it suits a reminder of home.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example with a move-in date or a family name. It comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
