Les Diablerets lies at the head of the Ormonts valley in the canton of Vaud, beneath the limestone massif that gives the village its name. It is a traditional mountain village of chalets strung along roads on the valley floor, with ski areas on the slopes to either side. From above the settlement forms a narrow band between steep terrain, overlooked by high rock walls and glaciers.
Above the village, the road climbs to the Col du Pillon, from where a cable car rises to Glacier 3000. This high-altitude area includes the Peak Walk, a suspension bridge strung between two summits, and snow that lasts well into the year.
