The frying pan
The fairground's round plan of concentric rings with a straight, handle-like entrance is one of the most distinctive urban shapes in Spain, and it prints beautifully in fine black line.

Albacete Map Poster & Print
Albacete stands on the open plain of La Mancha, with no river valley or hillside to bend its streets. The result is a city that expands evenly in every direction, its centre a web of older lanes around the cathedral, surrounded by wide avenues and orderly blocks. A ring of boulevards and newer districts marks each stage of its growth across the level ground.
The most striking shape is the Recinto Ferial, the fairground built for the September fair. Its circular plan, with concentric rings and a long entrance, earned it the local nickname of the frying pan. The city is also known across Spain for its knives, a craft tradition that goes back centuries and is still celebrated in a dedicated museum.
An Albacete map poster turns that level ground into a study in geometry. The fairground ring, the long straight streets and the large rectangle of Abelardo Sánchez park give the composition clear focal points, while the railway and ring roads frame the whole. It is an ideal map for people who like order without monotony.

Central park
Parque Abelardo Sánchez forms a broad green rectangle close to the centre, with paths crossing it diagonally, an open pause among the dense surrounding blocks.
Level growth
With no hills or major river to steer it, the city spreads evenly across the plain, its avenues and ring roads recording each phase of expansion.

Albacete draws people back for its fair, their university years or family roots in La Mancha. The map works as a conversation piece too: guests nearly always ask about the circle, which gives you a good reason to tell the story.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are yours to edit, whether for a wedding date or a hometown name. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand; Sand suits the warm, dry character of the plain.
