City Garden Map Poster & Print
City Garden is a private housing estate in North Point, in Hong Kong's Eastern District. Its towers stand on the narrow strip of flat land between Victoria Harbour and the steep hills of Hong Kong Island. From above, the estate is a tight group of building footprints inside a dense urban fabric, where streets run mostly parallel to the shoreline.
The main east–west roads carry the island's traffic along this shore, and the tram line on King's Road runs through the neighbourhood. North of the estate the land gives way to the harbour, and the waterfront makes a hard, clean edge on the map. To the south the street pattern breaks up quickly as the terrain climbs toward the island's green, contoured interior.
A City Garden map poster captures one of the most compressed urban landscapes anywhere: sea, towers and mountain within a few hundred metres of each other.
