Conceição do Almeida is a municipality in Bahia, in the Recôncavo region inland from the Bay of All Saints. It is a modest agricultural town. From above, the urban area is compact: a handful of main streets meet near the centre, and quieter residential lanes branch off toward the surrounding countryside.
