Evergem Map Poster & Print
Evergem is a municipality in East Flanders, directly north of Ghent, made up of several former villages, including Sleidinge, Ertvelde and Kluizen, as well as Evergem itself. The landscape is flat and low, and on a map the villages appear as separate clusters of streets in a patchwork of fields, meadows and drainage ditches.
The strongest line on the map is the Ghent–Terneuzen Canal, which runs north from Ghent to the Scheldt estuary and cuts through the municipality in a long, straight line. Along its banks are docks, basins and industrial sites belonging to the port area, in striking contrast to the quiet village lanes nearby. A large reservoir near Kluizen adds another geometric shape to the plan.
An Evergem map poster shows how industry and countryside sit side by side in Flanders: canals and harbour basins on one side, church villages and farmland on the other. The combination makes an unusual, graphic design, with bold straight lines and a scattering of small street patterns.

Village clusters
Sleidinge, Ertvelde and the other villages each have their own small centre, appearing as separate knots of streets among the fields and ditches.

For residents of Evergem, the poster captures both sides of their municipality: the port where many work and the villages where they live. A custom title can name a single village, and the subtitle and coordinates can hold a personal date or place.
The canal and docks look striking in Blueprint or Noir, while Classic black and white, Paper and Sand give the villages a gentler character. Order a printed matte poster from partners in over 30 countries, or download the $9 HD files.
