Fuji Map Poster & Print
Fuji lies in the southern part of the Sichuan Basin, a landscape of low, rolling hills cut by small rivers and streams. The ground here is rarely flat, so settlements follow valleys and gentle ridges rather than spreading in even grids. Roads twist to find easier gradients, and farmland is terraced into the slopes around the town.
This part of Sichuan is densely farmed and closely settled, with market towns linked by roads through hills planted with rice, vegetables and citrus. Towns like Fuji combine a compact centre of streets and shops with outlying villages and small clusters of houses scattered through the surrounding countryside.
A Fuji map poster shows a town reading the terrain. Streets curve along contours, the centre gathers in a valley, and the network thins into single roads that wind across the hills. Without labels, the lines become a record of how people in the Sichuan Basin have built into the land.

Scattered settlements
Small clusters of buildings dot the countryside around town, linked by narrow roads through terraced farmland.
