Guidiguis is a town in Cameroon's Far North Region, in the Mayo-Kani department, on the broad plains of the Sudano-Sahelian zone. The landscape is flat and open, and the town reflects it: streets and compounds spread outward with plenty of space between them, and the edges of the settlement fade gradually into fields and grassland.
