Lebaksiu lies in Tegal Regency, Central Java, south of the regency seat at Slawi, where the coastal plain begins to rise toward the slopes of Mount Slamet. Its map shows a loose, largely linear pattern: houses, shops and villages strung along the roads, with narrow lanes branching off into the surrounding rice fields and gardens.
Rice fields dominate the landscape, divided into small, irregular plots and crossed by irrigation channels and rivers flowing north toward the Java Sea.
