Luduş is a town in Mureș County, Romania, on the Mureș river where it crosses the Transylvanian Plain. The valley here is broad and flat, and the town spreads comfortably across it. On a map it is organised by two strong lines: the river on one side and the railway tracks through the middle.
Luduş is an important railway junction, where lines toward Cluj, Târgu Mureș and the rest of Transylvania meet.
