Missouri City Map Poster & Print
Missouri City lies on the south-western side of Houston, mostly in Fort Bend County. The map is dominated by master-planned neighbourhoods, each built around its own network of winding streets, lakes and closes. Unlike an old grid city, it reads as a collection of distinct shapes, separated by main roads and drainage corridors.
The land is flat, and water is managed with care. Bayous, retention ponds and channels appear throughout, often lined by parks and trails. In the south, the large Sienna development extends towards the Brazos River, where the curves of the river bring a natural line into the drawing.
