Muridke is a town in Punjab, Pakistan, between Lahore and Gujranwala. From above, its most important feature is the Grand Trunk Road, the historic route across northern South Asia, which runs through the town as a strong straight line. The railway follows a similar course, and the town has grown along these two corridors.
The land around Muridke is flat and intensively farmed, part of the fertile plain of central Punjab.
