Musaffah Map Poster & Print
Musaffah lies on the mainland opposite Abu Dhabi island and is one of the most rigidly planned places in the emirate. On a map it is a grid of large rectangular sectors, each divided into regular plots of workshops, warehouses and factories. Wide roads separate the sectors. A long shipping channel cuts along one side of the district.
The area developed as Abu Dhabi's main industrial and logistics zone, with vehicle workshops, fabrication yards, storage and worker accommodation. It also has residential communities and commercial streets serving the people who live and work there. The channel gives the zone direct access to the sea for industrial shipping.
A Musaffah map poster is a study in pure geometry. Straight roads, repeated blocks and uniform plots cover the whole frame, broken only by the channel and the main highways. Printed in black and white, it looks almost like an architectural drawing, a rare example of a place built entirely to plan.
