Paya Terubong Map Poster & Print
Paya Terubong lies in the interior of Penang Island, and from above it is shaped by the hills that surround it. The settlement fills a valley between steep, forested slopes, and roads follow the contours in long, curving lines. High-rise residential estates stand close together on the valley floor and lower hillsides.
On the map, the green of the hills contrasts sharply with the concentrated built area below. A main road threads through the valley, connecting it to Air Itam and George Town to the north and to the south of the island, and smaller roads branch into neighbourhoods tucked against the slopes.
Paya Terubong is one of the most densely populated parts of Penang Island, a place where many residents live within sight of the hills. A Paya Terubong map poster captures that close relationship between dense housing and forested terrain, a pattern distinctive to Penang's inland valleys.
