Pelham is a city in Shelby County, Alabama, just south of Birmingham. Its map is organised along a north-south corridor where Interstate 65 and US Highway 31 run side by side. Commercial strips follow these roads, while residential neighbourhoods branch off in the curving streets and cul-de-sacs typical of American suburbs.
