Quilicura sits at the northern rim of Greater Santiago, where the valley floor runs out and low, bare hills start to close it in. From above, the commune is mostly flat. Long motorway corridors cut across it, and wide industrial parcels sit beside tighter blocks of housing. It reads as a working edge of the capital, and a map shows that plainly.
Two different textures share the map. One is the large rectangular footprint of warehouses and logistics yards lined up along the main roads north. The other is a fine mesh of residential streets, cul-de-sacs and small plazas built as the city spread outward. Industrial parcels
Large blocks of warehouses and distribution centres form wide, simple shapes. Their scale contrasts sharply with the dense residential streets next to them, and that contrast gives the poster its structure.
