Raqo is a town in the Somali Region of eastern Ethiopia, in the wide semi-arid country that extends toward the border with Somalia. From above, the settlement is small and self-contained, a cluster of streets and plots surrounded by open land, with tracks radiating out toward other towns and grazing areas.
