Rongo is a town in Migori County in southwestern Kenya, in the green, well-watered country between Lake Victoria and the highlands. From above it has a simple, readable form. A main road passes through the town, and the commercial centre builds up along it. Smaller streets and footpaths branch out on either side into homesteads and cultivated plots.
