Sambiase is part of Lamezia Terme in Calabria, one of three towns merged into a single municipality in 1968 along with Nicastro and Sant'Eufemia Lamezia. On the map, Sambiase sits where the hills meet the plain, its streets climbing gently at the back and spreading more loosely toward the flatter land in front.
