Sarigam INA is an industrial notified area in Valsad district in the far south of Gujarat, close to the border with Maharashtra and a short distance inland from the Arabian Sea. Its map is quite different from that of an ordinary town. Long, straight roads divide the land into large rectangular plots, most of them occupied by factories and industrial units.
The estate is known for chemical, pharmaceutical and engineering industries and is part of the belt of industrial development in southern Gujarat. Housing and villages lie around the edges, where the planned grid meets older roads and farmland. The national highway and the railway between Mumbai and Gujarat run nearby, connecting the area to both states.
