Southington Map Poster & Print
Southington spreads across a broad valley in central Connecticut, with wooded ridges rising to the east and west. On the map, the town centre is a small, dense area of streets around the main green, surrounded by village clusters such as Plantsville and Milldale and large stretches of residential roads.
Interstate 84 cuts across the northern part of town, and the Quinnipiac River runs south through it. A long rail trail follows the route of the historic Farmington Canal line through Southington, a straight corridor that stands out among the curving suburban streets.
A Southington map poster brings together the elements of a classic New England town: a green, a river, old mill villages and orchards on the hillsides. The town is known for its apple orchards and its annual Apple Harvest Festival, a reminder of its agricultural roots.
