Tsing Yi is an island in Hong Kong's Kwai Tsing District, lying just off the western shore of Kowloon and the New Territories. From above, it has a steep, green centre around Tsing Yi Peak, ringed by a narrow coastal strip packed with high-rise housing estates, industrial sites and container terminals.
The Rambler Channel separates the island from Kwai Chung and Tsuen Wan, and over the years reclamation has reshaped much of the shoreline.
