Vnukovo is best known for its airport, one of the main international airports serving Moscow and one of the oldest in the country. The name covers both the airport and the settlement next to it, which is now part of the city of Moscow. On a map, the airport stands out right away. Beside the airfield, the settlement has a very different character.
