Albignasego Map Poster & Print
Albignasego lies directly south of Padua in the Veneto, on the flat, intensively farmed plain of northern Italy. On a map it merges with the city's southern outskirts, forming a web of residential streets, local centres and small industrial areas. Toward the south the built-up area gives way to fields divided by straight roads and drainage canals.
The town is made up of several frazioni, or hamlets, that have grown together over time, so there is no single historic centre. Instead, the map shows a series of small cores linked by roads, each with its own church and square. This pattern is common on the Venetian plain, and it is especially clear here.
An Albignasego map poster captures the texture of that landscape: suburban streets, open fields and canals running in straight lines between them. Because the town sits so close to Padua, the map shows how the city fades into the countryside. It makes a fitting portrait of a place many people know as home rather than as a destination.

Canals and ditches
Straight drainage canals run through the fields, a typical feature of the Venetian plain that adds fine lines to the poster.
Edge of Padua
To the north the town merges with Padua's suburbs, and the map shows the gradual shift from city streets to open countryside.
