Ballymena Map Poster & Print
Ballymena is in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, in the valley of the River Braid. From above, the town has a clear centre where the older streets meet. Main roads spread out from there toward Antrim, Larne, Ballymoney and the countryside, with residential estates filling the spaces between them. The river runs through the town, adding a winding line of water and green banks.
To the east, the land rises toward the Antrim hills and Slemish, the mountain linked in tradition with Saint Patrick's youth. The town grew as a market centre for the surrounding farms and linen industry. Its map still reflects that role: roads fan out into the countryside like spokes, and the ring of newer streets shows later growth around the old core.
A Ballymena map poster shows a traditional Ulster town in clear lines. In black and white, the river's curve, the radiating roads and the compact centre make a balanced design with room at the edges for the surrounding fields. It is a map with clear structure, but not so rigid that it feels planned.

Radiating roads
Main routes leave the centre toward neighbouring towns in several directions. They form a star-like frame for the town.
Toward Slemish
East of town the land rises toward the Antrim hills and Slemish. The map opens into wide, quiet countryside on that side.
