Ben Mehidi Map Poster & Print
Ben Mehidi is a town in El Tarf Province, in the far northeast of Algeria. It sits on the low coastal plain east of Annaba. Its name honours Larbi Ben M'hidi, a leader of the war of independence. On a map, the town appears as a compact settlement of streets surrounded by cultivated fields and drainage channels.
The plain around it is shaped by water. Rivers cross the flat land on their way to the Mediterranean, and further east lie the lakes and wetlands of El Kala National Park. Within the town, the streets follow a fairly practical layout, and main roads run through it toward neighbouring towns along the coast.
A Ben Mehidi map poster shows a settlement defined by its setting more than by monuments. It has a close pattern of streets, farmland laid out in long parcels, and lines of roads and watercourses across the plain. Rendered in monochrome, the fields and channels add a fine texture around the town.

Through roads
Main roads pass through Ben Mehidi and link it with Annaba and the eastern part of the province. They form the strongest lines on the map.
Watercourses
Rivers and drainage channels cross the plain toward the sea. These thin, winding lines soften the otherwise geometric landscape.
