Historic centre
The oldest part of town is a dense cluster of narrow streets and enclosed blocks. On the poster it forms the darkest and most intricate area, the obvious centre of the whole composition.

Brusciano Map Poster & Print
Brusciano is a small town in the Metropolitan City of Naples. It sits on the level agricultural plain that stretches north of Monte Somma and Vesuvius. From above, the old centre is a tight knot of narrow streets and courtyard blocks. Around it, newer housing spreads out along the roads, until the edges of Brusciano are hard to separate from the neighbouring towns in this densely settled part of Campania.
The town is best known for the Festa dei Gigli, held in honour of Saint Anthony. For it, tall decorated wooden towers are carried through the streets on the shoulders of teams of bearers. The festival adds a human sense of scale to the map, because the same narrow lanes that look so intricate from above are the ones the gigli have to move through each year.
A Brusciano map poster captures the dense, fine-grained texture typical of the towns around Naples. The historic streets are drawn in tight, irregular strokes, the later districts in a looser pattern, and the fields at the edges in a few open spaces. The final composition is intimate and detailed. It rewards a close look, much like the town itself.

Festival streets
The gigli towers are carried along the streets of the centre during the annual feast of Saint Anthony. The map traces the tight network of lanes this long-standing tradition passes through.
Plain below Vesuvius
Brusciano stands on flat land north of the volcano, and roads run out towards neighbouring towns in several directions. The level ground keeps the street pattern compact and continuous.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
A map of Brusciano means most to people with roots there, including families who have moved abroad and people who have carried or watched the gigli. It's a quiet way to keep the town's streets close, in a design that stays understated on the wall.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, such as a surname, a festival year or the address of a family home. There are five styles to choose from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
