Coronel João Sá Map Poster & Print
Coronel João Sá lies in the far northeast of Bahia, close to the border with Sergipe, in the semi-arid country known as the sertão. From above, the town is a small, dense cluster of streets and squares with low houses built close together, surrounded by a much larger rural territory of scattered farms, dirt roads and dry scrub.
Like many municipalities of the sertão, it covers a wide area in which the town itself takes up only a small part. Roads leave the centre in several directions toward farms, villages and neighbouring towns, and life here follows the rhythms of rain and drought typical of the Bahian interior. The street plan is plain and practical, shaped by growth rather than design.
A Coronel João Sá map poster works as a compact, almost diagrammatic image: a tight knot of streets and the roads that reach away from it. Sand gives a warm, dry tone that fits the landscape, and Classic black & white keeps the lines crisp. For a hometown piece, a close framing of the centre is usually the most recognisable.

Radiating roads
Rural roads leave the town in several directions, thin lines across the sertão that connect the centre with farms and neighbouring communities.
Semi-arid setting
The land around the town is dry and lightly settled, so the map carries plenty of open space, which makes the built-up area read even more distinctly.
