Custódia Map Poster & Print
Custódia is a municipality in the interior of Pernambuco, in the semi-arid sertão of northeastern Brazil. The town itself is compact, a group of blocks gathered along the main road, while the municipality around it extends across wide stretches of dry land. On a map the settlement looks like a small, dense cluster set within a very large, quiet space.
The landscape is caatinga: scrub and low vegetation adapted to long dry seasons and irregular rain. Water is managed through reservoirs and small dams, and these shapes, where they appear, are among the few natural outlines interrupting the open ground. The town's position along the BR-232, the main highway crossing Pernambuco from the coast into the interior, ties it to the rest of the state.
A Custódia map poster reads almost like a study in scale. The streets form a tight, readable pattern at the centre, the highway runs through as a long confident line, and the surrounding land stays mostly empty, reflecting the character of the sertão rather than any lack of detail.

Compact town centre
The built area is small and tightly grouped, so even a close crop shows the full town, from its central streets to the point where they meet open land.
Reservoir outlines
Water stored in reservoirs across the semi-arid municipality appears as irregular shapes on the land, adding soft natural forms to an otherwise sparse map.

ඇයි Custódia
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Many people from the sertão live far from where they grew up, in Recife, São Paulo or elsewhere. A map of Custódia is a modest, specific way to keep that origin visible at home, without relying on photographs or souvenirs.
The poster can carry a personal title, subtitle and coordinates, for example a family surname or a year. Five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, let you choose a look that suits the room, with Sand echoing the dry landscape.
