Terai plain
The city lies on almost completely flat ground, so its streets can run long and straight, giving the map a clear, open structure with few natural interruptions.

Dhangaḍhi̇̄ Map Poster & Print
Dhangadhi sits on the level plain of the Terai in the far west of Nepal, only a short distance from the border with India. With no hills or major rivers running through the centre, the map is shaped almost entirely by roads: a few broad main axes, a network of straight connecting streets and a looser pattern of lanes that fade into farmland at the edges.
The city has grown quickly as the main commercial and administrative centre of Kailali District and one of the largest urban areas in Sudurpashchim. New neighbourhoods have spread across what were recently fields, so its outline is irregular and still changing. Further north, the first low ridges of the Chure hills mark the edge of the plain.
A Dhangaḍhi̇̄ map poster records the city at a particular moment in that growth, with its regular roads and the open land that still surrounds them. It makes a thoughtful gift for someone from the far west of Nepal, or for anyone who has lived, worked or studied in this corner of the Terai.

Near the border
Dhangadhi is close to the Indian border, and the roads leading south toward the crossing are among the strongest lines on the map.
Growing edges
At the city's margins, built-up blocks give way gradually to fields and scattered houses, showing on the map as a soft, uneven boundary.
