East Point Map Poster & Print
East Point sits just south-west of Atlanta, and its shape on a map comes from the railroad. The town grew at the eastern end of the Atlanta and West Point Railroad, which gave it its name. Downtown streets are aligned with the tracks, and a fairly regular grid spreads out from that line into leafy residential neighbourhoods.
To the south, the vast runways of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport take up a large block of land, and on a map they form long, straight bars that dwarf the surrounding streets. Interstates and MARTA rail link East Point to central Atlanta, and the rail line runs straight through the city.
An East Point map poster pairs the old railroad grid with the modern transport infrastructure around it. The rail corridor, the planned downtown blocks, curving suburban streets and the edge of one of the world's busiest airports all fit into one frame, a composition that is both historic and distinctly American.

Airport runways
Hartsfield–Jackson's runways lie just to the south as long parallel strips, a bold graphic element at the edge of the map.
Residential blocks
Beyond downtown, tree-lined neighbourhoods mix regular blocks with curving streets and cul-de-sacs, filling the map with finer detail.
