Suburban railway
The line towards Bangaon crosses the town in one steady stroke, and the station area is where the densest cluster of streets gathers.

Gobārdānga Map Poster & Print
Gobardanga lies in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, in the flat, well-watered country north-east of Kolkata. From above, the town is a close network of lanes gathered around its railway station, with a small winding river nearby and many ponds scattered through the neighbourhoods and the farmland beyond.
The town is on the suburban rail line that runs from Sealdah towards Bangaon and the border with Bangladesh, which makes the tracks the clearest straight line on its map. Around them, streets follow older property boundaries and waterways rather than any grid, giving the plan an organic, irregular feel.
A Gobardanga map poster suits people who know the place by its lanes and bathing ghats rather than by landmarks. The river's curves, the pond outlines and the rail line are the elements that stand out, and together they make a quiet, detailed composition in black and white.

Winding river
A narrow river loops past the town, its bends drawn in sharp contrast to the straight railway and the surrounding field boundaries.
Ponds and tanks
Small ponds appear throughout the neighbourhoods, a feature typical of lower Bengal that gives the map a scatter of dark shapes.

For families who have moved to Kolkata or further, Gobardanga is often the place of grandparents, school years and festivals. A map of those lanes and ponds keeps that connection visible on the wall, without needing any words to explain it.
The title and subtitle can be written as you like, for example with a family name and a year, and the coordinates line can be edited. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand to fit the room.
