Hepo Map Poster & Print
Hepo is the seat of Jiexi County in Jieyang, in the hill country of eastern Guangdong. The town lies in a valley where a river winds between ranges of low hills, and the built-up area spreads along the flat ground beside the water. On a map the shape of the valley is clear. The streets fill the lowland and stop where the slopes begin.
The older centre is a dense cluster of narrow streets, with newer districts and wider roads extending along the valley in both directions. Roads leave the town by following the river and threading through gaps in the hills. The map shows a few long arms reaching out from a compact core, a pattern shaped entirely by the terrain.
Hepo is a Hakka town, and many Hakka families overseas, particularly in Southeast Asia, trace their origins to this area. It is also known for lei cha, a Hakka pounded tea made with herbs and grains. A Hepo map poster records a valley town that has long been a point of departure and return.

Winding river
A river curves through the town and along the valley, giving the poster a gentle line of water that the main streets follow closely.
Compact old centre
At the heart of the town, a tight knot of narrow streets forms the densest part of the map, surrounded by broader, newer roads.

ඇයි Hepo
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
For Hakka families in China and across Southeast Asia, Hepo is an ancestral home as much as a town. A map of its streets and valley makes a meaningful gift and keeps a family's place of origin visible and close.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, the older spelling Hopo or a date, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper gives the valley a soft, archival feel.
