Ipueiras Map Poster & Print
Ipueiras is a small municipality in the state of Piauí in northeastern Brazil, in the semi-arid interior known as the sertão. The landscape around it is caatinga, a dry forest and scrubland that turns green in the rainy season and grey in the long dry months. On the map, the town is a compact cluster of streets with a church square, surrounded by open countryside.
In this part of Brazil, water shapes where people live. Seasonal streams and small reservoirs, called açudes, show up as thin winding lines and irregular shapes in the terrain. Dirt roads and tracks connect scattered rural properties to the town, forming a loose web that becomes finer closer to the centre.
An Ipueiras map poster is spare and quiet. It shows a small built-up area, a few roads, and a wide landscape marked mostly by watercourses and tracks. That openness is the point: it shows accurately how small towns in the sertão sit within a vast, sparsely settled land.

Seasonal streams
Watercourses that run only after rain cross the land in thin, branching lines. On the map they are among the few features in the open caatinga.
Rural tracks
Unpaved roads link farms and hamlets to the town. They form a loose network that gives the outer part of the poster its structure.

Many people from the sertão live far from where they were born, in big cities in the south or the northeast. A map of Ipueiras keeps that origin close and gives a small town the attention it deserves.
Add your own title and subtitle, a family name or a date for example, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles. Sand and Paper suit the dry landscape well. Printed posters come on matte paper.
