River mouth and breakwaters
Twin breakwaters guide the Itajaí-Açu into the ocean and frame the harbour entrance. On the poster they read as two thin lines reaching out from the coast, the most recognisable detail of the city.

Itajaí Map Poster & Print
Itajaí sits where the Itajaí-Açu river reaches the Atlantic on the coast of Santa Catarina. From above, the river is the main line of the city. It makes a broad curve that separates Itajaí from Navegantes on the northern bank and carries ships almost into the centre. Quays, container yards and warehouses follow the southern shore and give the waterfront a hard, rectilinear edge against the water.
Behind the port the street pattern loosens into residential blocks that run toward low green hills to the south and west. Along the coast the grid gives way to a sequence of beaches and headlands, among them Praia Brava, which borders Balneário Camboriú. The change from industrial riverfront to wooded slopes and open shoreline is clear even at a small scale.
Itajaí is one of Brazil's busiest container ports and a long-standing centre of the fishing industry. Its October Marejada festival celebrates the Portuguese heritage of the coast. An Itajaí map poster shows that working character in line alone: the river mouth, the breakwaters reaching into the sea, and the streets that grew up around trade.

Working waterfront
Container terminals and fishing quays line the southern bank. They form long rectangular blocks that contrast with the finer residential streets just inland and give the centre a heavier graphic weight.
Coast toward Praia Brava
South-east of the centre the shoreline turns into beaches separated by rocky, wooded points. There the dense street grid thins out against the hills and sand.

For people who work at sea or in logistics, or who grew up near the port, Itajaí is a map with a purpose: every street seems to lead to the river. It makes a quiet, specific piece for a home office or a hallway, especially with a title and date that mark an arrival or a departure.
You can personalise the poster with your own title, subtitle and coordinates line and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the harbour's engineered edges. Digital HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
