Planned avenues
Broad, straight avenues and regular rectangular blocks show that the town was designed before it was built. The result is one of the clearest grids in the region.

Juína Map Poster & Print
Juína was founded in the late 1970s as part of a planned colonisation project in north-western Mato Grosso. It shows. The town is laid out as a deliberate grid of wide avenues and long rectangular blocks, the kind of plan drawn on paper before anyone arrived. From above, it looks like a clean geometric shape placed into a landscape of forest, pasture and meandering rivers.
Around the town, the pattern changes. Straight roads run out to farms and cleared land, and rivers loop through what forest remains. The line between the ordered town and the irregular country is unusually sharp, which makes Juína a striking subject for a monochrome print.
Among geologists, Juína is known for diamonds. Some stones from the area formed extremely deep within the Earth and are studied for what they reveal about the mantle. A Juína map poster says nothing about that directly, but the name will mean something to people who know the story, as well as to the families who built the town from scratch.

Sharp town edge
The grid stops abruptly where the countryside begins, so the town appears on the map as a crisp, well-defined shape.
Winding rivers
Rivers and streams curve freely through the land around the town. Their natural loops contrast with the straight lines of the planned streets.

ඇයි Juína
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Juína is young enough that many of its founders and their children still live there or remember the early years. A map of the grid they helped settle makes a meaningful gift. The subtitle can record the year a family arrived.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits a planned town especially well, since the grid already looks like a drawing.
