Kamienna Góra Map Poster & Print
Kamienna Góra lies in the upper Bóbr valley in Lower Silesia, southwestern Poland, not far from the Czech border. Known in German as Landeshut, it grew as a textile town in the foothills of the Sudetes. The historic centre forms a compact block around a rectangular market square, and from it streets fall toward the river and climb the slopes beyond.
The relief around the town gives it its shape. Hills close in from several directions, including the Rudawy Janowickie range to the northwest, and the built-up area stretches along the valley floor rather than spreading evenly. Railway lines and roads follow the same valleys, so the map reads as a set of corridors meeting at the centre.
A Kamienna Góra map poster captures a classic Silesian pattern: a planned medieval square, a winding river and an industrial town layered around both. Nearby is Krzeszów, whose baroque abbey is one of the best-known monuments in the region. Anyone who has travelled through these hills will know the area well.

Bóbr valley
The river runs along the valley floor through the town, and roads, rail lines and newer housing follow its course, stretching the town lengthwise.
Sudeten hills
Wooded hills rise on several sides, including the Rudawy Janowickie to the northwest, leaving open ground around the edges of the map and a clear sense of enclosure.
