Kapadvanj Map Poster & Print
Kapadvanj is a town in Kheda district of central Gujarat, set on the plains east of Ahmedabad beside the Mohar river. From above, the old town is a compact knot of narrow, winding lanes, the kind of dense layout found in many historic Gujarati towns, with newer, more regular development spreading outward along the main roads.
The town is known for its medieval monuments, notably a stepped water tank and an ornamental arch, or kirti torana, dating from the Solanki period. It was long a trading town, and like many old Gujarati towns its older quarters still carry the imprint of merchant communities in their close-set houses and narrow lanes.
A Kapadvanj map poster sets the dense old core against the looser suburbs and open fields beyond. The winding lanes become a fine, intricate web in black and white, and the river gives the composition a soft natural edge. It is a quiet, detailed portrait of a town with deep roots.

River edge
The Mohar river runs along the town, a gentle curve that contrasts with the tight streets and marks a natural boundary on the map.
Outward growth
Newer neighbourhoods extend along the main roads in more regular blocks, showing how the town has grown beyond its historic core into the surrounding farmland.
