Branching lanes
Narrow roads split and rejoin around house compounds and follow property lines rather than a planned layout, which gives the map a fine, organic texture.

Killannur Map Poster & Print
Killannur lies in Thrissur district in central Kerala, a short distance from the city of Thrissur. From above it does not read as a compact town. Houses sit singly or in small clusters under a heavy canopy of coconut palms, and the lanes that link them twist and branch without any obvious plan.
The map shows the pattern typical of this part of Kerala: a few firmer roads carrying traffic towards Thrissur, and between them a fine mesh of narrow ways following old plot boundaries and the gentle rise and fall of the laterite ground. Open patches mark paddy land and ponds, and they break up the built fabric.
A Killannur map poster turns this soft, spread-out landscape into clear linework. There is no grid and no single centre, only a dense web of small roads. On paper it looks more like a drawing of roots than a plan, which is exactly how many Kerala towns really look from the air.

Paddy and ponds
Low-lying fields and small water bodies show up as open spaces between the settled areas, a reminder of the agricultural land that still shapes the town.
Road towards Thrissur
The main connecting roads run towards Thrissur and form a firmer frame that holds the looser local streets together.
