Lolodorf Map Poster & Print
Lolodorf lies in the South Region of Cameroon, inland from the coast at Kribi, in country covered by equatorial forest. Its name ends in the German word dorf, meaning village, a trace of the colonial period before the First World War. On a map the town is a modest cluster of streets around the main road, with forest close on every side.
The street pattern is informal and follows the rolling terrain. Lanes run along ridges and dip toward small streams. Roads lead out to neighbouring towns and villages as thin lines that disappear into large unmarked areas of woodland. The contrast between a small built core and a wide green surround gives the map its character.
A Lolodorf map poster is a rare thing, since few places of this size are ever drawn in print. It shows the town as a clearing in the forest where roads and paths meet. For people with family or memories in this part of Cameroon, it is a quiet reminder of home.

Terrain-led lanes
Secondary streets curve with the rolling ground, following ridges and descending to low-lying land, so the network looks organic rather than planned.
Forest surround
Beyond the last houses, the map opens into wide empty areas that stand for the dense equatorial forest of Cameroon's South Region.
