Mondragone Map Poster & Print
Mondragone lies on the Domitian coast of northern Campania, in the province of Caserta. On a map the town has two distinct sides. The older center sits against the lower slopes of Monte Massico, and a newer grid of streets stretches toward a long, almost straight sandy shore. Beach roads and holiday housing follow the coastline for kilometers.
Inland and to the south lies the flat land of the Volturno plain, divided by drainage canals into long, regular fields. This is buffalo country, and the area is well known for mozzarella di bufala. On detailed maps the rectangular farm parcels and canals contrast with the mountain's contour-driven roads that climb above the town.
Near Mondragone lay the Roman colony of Sinuessa, on the ancient Via Appia, and traces of the Roman road still shape the area's geography. A Mondragone map poster brings together mountain, town, plain and sea in one frame. The clean line of the coast gives the composition a strong edge, and the hill adds depth.

Monte Massico slopes
The old town rests against the mountain that rises behind it. Roads curve up the slopes and contrast with the flat grid below.
Canal-cut plain
South and east of town, drainage canals and regular fields form a geometric pattern across the reclaimed plain toward the Volturno.

Mondragone is a summer town for many and home for others. A map of the coast and the mountain captures the setting that both know well, in a form that fits a modern interior.
Add a family name or a summer year in the subtitle, and edit the coordinates if you like. Sand and Paper recall the beach, while Noir looks sharp in a darker room. HD files come in six sizes, and printed posters can be framed.
