Plateau street pattern
Streets follow the rise and fall of the highland ground instead of a strict grid, giving the town an irregular, organic outline that shows well in black and white.

Otacílio Costa Map Poster & Print
Otacílio Costa lies on the highland plateau of Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil. From above, the town is a modest network of streets laid over rolling terrain. It has no strict grid. Roads bend to follow the ground, and the residential blocks are a patchwork of shapes. A few main routes pull the settlement together and lead out toward the surrounding countryside.
The town is closely tied to the pulp and paper industry. The land around it reflects that, with large blocks of planted forest alternating with pasture and open fields. On a monochrome map these areas give the town wide, quiet margins. Its line work stays concentrated in the middle, and the edges fall away into near-empty space.
An Otacílio Costa map poster makes the most of that contrast. You see a small urban centre with a clear outline, surrounded by the broad, calm geometry of the plateau. It is an unassuming plan. That restraint suits the minimalist style, where every street carries some weight and nothing competes for attention.

Forest and field edges
Planted forest and open pasture press close to the town. On the poster they leave generous empty margins that make the settlement itself stand out.
Main approach roads
A few principal roads carry traffic in and out. They act as the backbone of the composition, linking the compact centre to the wider plateau.
