Ponnūru Map Poster & Print
Ponnūru lies in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, between the city of Guntur and the coast near Bapatla. The land here is part of the Krishna delta, flat and heavily irrigated, and the map reflects it: canals run in long, straight lines, fields form a dense patchwork, and the town itself is a compact cluster of lanes gathered around its main streets.
Delta canals fed from the Krishna make this one of the most productive farming areas in Andhra Pradesh, and Ponnūru serves as a market town for the villages around it. Roads connect it with Guntur, Tenali and the coast, and the busy centre gives way within a short distance to open, irrigated fields.
A Ponnūru map poster shows the delta's order at close range. Long canals and embankment roads divide the landscape into precise sections, while the town adds a finer, denser pattern at the centre. In black and white the contrast is striking: engineered water lines on one side, the organic growth of a market town on the other.

Field patchwork
Rice fields divided by bunds and channels fill most of the frame outside the town, forming a fine grid of small plots.
Market centre
The town's busiest streets gather in a compact core, from which roads lead out toward Guntur, Tenali and the coast near Bapatla.
