Pop Map Poster & Print
Pop is a town in the Namangan Region of eastern Uzbekistan and the centre of the district of the same name. It stands in the north-western part of the Fergana Valley, north of the Syr Darya and not far from the border with Tajikistan. The valley is one of Central Asia's most intensively farmed areas, and Pop is surrounded by that farmland.
From above, the town is defined by water management. Irrigation canals and ditches run across the land in long lines, and fields, orchards and household plots fill the spaces between them. Streets in the centre are fairly regular, but at the edges they merge into the agricultural grid. Further off, the mountains that surround the valley start to rise, and the flat irrigated land gives way to drier slopes.
A Pop map poster draws that mix of town and field as a single fine-grained pattern. It is a natural choice for people from Namangan and for anyone who knows the Fergana Valley, where canals and poplar-lined roads are part of everyday life.

For families from Pop and Namangan, a map of the town is a direct link to home. Its canal-lined fields and compact centre also make an unusual, graphic print for anyone interested in Central Asia.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name in Uzbek or a meaningful year, for example. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
